As a photographer, there are moments that stand out in your career, moments that feel almost surreal. Recently, I had one of those moments when I had the incredible opportunity to meet and photograph a model whom I admired since my younger years; Cervena Fox.
She was someone whose images adorned the pages of international alternative magazines and graced the feeds of Tumblr during its heyday. Not only is she known for her modeling prowess, but she also dazzles audiences with her performances in Burlesque and showcases her extraordinary skills in tattoo artistry.
The serendipitous encounter came about through an amazing workshop I attended a few weeks back. Interestingly, she was meant to be part of the workshop’s model team but couldn’t make it. Fate, however, had other plans. Upon stumbling upon the images I created during the workshop, she reached out to me, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Working with her felt like the universe aligning in perfect harmony. Together with an incredible team, we embarked on a journey to create magic through our lenses. The anticipation of working on these images fills me with excitement, but for now, I want to share with you the behind-the-scenes glimpses of the glamour and creativity that unfolded during our time together.

The energy on set was electric, each moment infused with creativity and passion. As the camera clicked away, capturing fleeting moments of beauty and artistry, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the opportunity to work alongside such a powerhouse of a woman. Her presence brought an undeniable spark to the shoot, elevating every frame we captured.

One of the most memorable looks we photographed that day exuded elegance and sophistication, yet with a hint of edginess that is quintessentially her. From the intricate details of her tattoos to the way she effortlessly commanded the camera, every aspect of the shoot was a testament to her talent and charisma.

As I reflect on this extraordinary experience, I am reminded of the power of connection and the unexpected paths that life often takes us on. Meeting and working with someone I’ve long admired is a reminder that dreams do come true when you least expect them to.
